2016 Youth Day Camp & Junior Bulldogs FAQs

What do you need for Camp?

Campers should bring basketball/athletic shoes, shorts, t-shirt/jersey, drink/snack if preferred, and money for the camp store if desired.  You do not need to bring a basketball.  We will provide the basketballs.

Is there a Camp Store?

Lunch is only sold for the Youth Day Camps.  The store will serve Pizza, Drinks, Chips, Candy, and other snacks that can be purchased.

Do you have a Camp Bank?

Parents can put money in the camp bank during registration.  Campers can draw from the balance at the concession stand during the week.  This allows your camper to avoid carrying cash at camp. Campers can still use cash at the Camp Store.

Location of Camp?

Camp headquarters will be the Thomas Assembly Center(TAC) on the Louisiana Tech campus.

Who is on the Camp Staff?

We have a highly qualified and motivated staff to help each camper have a rewarding and enriching camp experience. Our Louisiana Tech players will work the camp.  We also bring in a staff of talented coaches and instructors who come from basketball backgrounds at the high school, collegiate, and professional level.  Members of the Louisiana Tech Men’s Basketball staff will be available at all times to assist with the direction and supervision of the camp.

Do you offer Early Drop-off / Late Pick-up?

We offer early drop-off and late pick-up 30 minutes before and after camp each day.

What are the camp hours?

Youth Day Camps: 9:00am – 4:00pm Monday to Thursday

Junior Bulldog Camps: 9:00am – 12:00pm Monday to Wednesday

When is Camp Registration?

Youth Day Camps: 9:00am – 4:00pm Monday to Thursday

Junior Bulldog Camps: 9:00am – 12:00pm Monday to Wednesday

Is there medical staff on call?

There will be certified athletic trainers at camp at all times.  At registration, please visit the Trainer’s Table and provide written instructions of how to administer any medication your child should need while at camp.

Electronic Devices

We highly discourage campers from bringing MP3 players, iPads, electronic games, laptops and other valuables.  If campers bring any electronic devices, it will be at their own risk.

Can I watch my son play?

Parents, family, and friends are all welcome to watch anytime during the week of camp. Please see the Camp Director to confirm the day’s events.

Do you accept walk-up registrations?

We do accept walk-up registrations for any camp. However, we encourage all participants to register in advance.
